Our Lady of Good Counsel High School is an exceptional private high school community for high school boys and girls in grades nine through twelve. It is one of the largest private schools in Maryland. Our Lady of Good Counsel 50-acre campus is the beautiful maintained with seven sports fields.

The Assistant Grounds Manager is responsible for providing a campus with superior landscaping, turf, and athletic facilities to ensure a campus that is second to no other high school.  This is a full-time position with excellent pay, retirement and health  benefits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the grounds of Good Counsel School.
• Assist in planning and supervision of employee daily activities to include safety.
• Maintain the school's pesticide program and regulatory.
• Ability to lift 60lbs or more
• Assist in, planning for, and implement inclement weather plan.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Must be able to work within a community setting.
• Strong communication and computer skills required.
• College Education or equivalent required with experience and Maryland experience in pesticide usage.
• Operate all Landscape equipment  including a basic understanding of mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
